They may be enjoyable, but you can only wonder when/how it will be improved in the future. Maybe a system works, but it clearly will be upgraded later. Some games feel real interesting on release, but are 'basic' in some areas.So based on that, here is a more detailed response: You play strategy games, so you are probably familiar with how they can be on release. I play these type of games in bursts, so my hours will grow rapidly in 1-2 weeks. Will definitely return to playing now that I have a 'feel' for the game. Spent most time just trying out the factions, and the like, and reading the in-game guide. and Paradox is very supportive of post-launch content.Īs for playtime, I binged it a bit on release, and on and off after. Of course it lacking in content compared to a fully expanded strategy game, but it is easily one of the more satisfying base games in a while.įurther, Triumph has been good with DLC in the past. My current thought is that it is a great game.
